The Mini MBA certificate is ideal for early or mid-career professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners who seek the critical skills needed to advance their careers and successfully address today’s business challenges.

This condensed and highly focused credential delivers core business knowledge in the areas of leadership, analytics, accounting, and finance.

Students who complete the Mini MBA will be well positioned for leadership or supervisory roles requiring oversite of budgets, systems and data, and problem solving.

 

The Real Deal. And Stackable Credit.

The Clark School of Business is AACSB accredited. All courses earn academic credit, and successfully completed coursework is transferable to any business-related master’s degree at Clark.  Courses are taught by MBA program faculty, and Mini MBA students study alongside those enrolled in the full-time MBA  and if they choose to continue, could complete the degree with 8 additional courses.

Available Online or in Person. Perfect for Working Professionals

Students study part-time. All courses are offered online, delivered asynchronously, or in person. No business background is necessary, and GMAT/GRE scores are not required for the mini MBA.

The Skills Business Requires

The Mini MBA consists of four 4-credit courses:

  1. Organizational Leadership (MGMT 4302)
  2. Info Systems for Analytics (BAN 4500)
  3. Foundations of Financial Accounting (ACCT 4100)
  4. Financial Management (FIN 4200)

Advising and Career Services Included

Mini MBA students receive the same advising and career services as full-time CUSB graduate students. Each student is assigned an academic advisor to guide them through coursework, and advise on how to apply for the MBA degree if they wish to continue their studies.

Career services include: resume review and critiques, career advice, mock interviews, participation in school activities, events, and speakers.

  • Successful completion of undergraduate bachelor’s degree
  • Some professional work experience (1-2 years)
  • 1 letter of professional reference
  • GMAT/GRE scores are NOT required
